Call received, not answered, no message left

Rang several times and don't leave a message.
Call comes up as "Waroona (08) 9513 2233"

Caller: Said they were from Our Community

Rang and said they were collecting money fro a charity called our community. The voice sounds weird like almost a real person but not quite, just kept on repeating the same series of statements.

Caller: Some charity.

When I said I was not interested & asked them to remove me from their calling list. The lady responded you don’t know what I am calling about & continued with her recorded script. I repeated my request & then hung up.

Caller: Believe it was a fake charity.

Answered call but no one at other end. Checked this site. I've received calls before from a conservation charity, a woman, told her to advertise for money, not ring people. Have blocked number.

Unsolicited call, claiming to be rain forest conservation.

Caller: Charity Collectors

I have had three calls on different numbers from these charity collectors which sound CONVINCINGLY like you are talking to a real person but the call always sounds exactly the same with a lady first cheerfully introducing herself and then going straight into a sales pitch asking to support various charity causes. I think it is all pre-recorded. Last time I asked "Is this a robo call" - there was a click - a pause - awkward fake laughter - and then straight back into the sales pitch. Now I just hang up.

Call received and when not answered no message was left.
