Didn't answer the phone but left behind a voice message, claiming to have an arrest warrant for me if I don't call back, but was in robotic voice. Blacklisted the number - completely fake.

I had a call this number yesterday. It is voice message, saying Its from ato and will be arrested if i do not call back.

My mother got the same thing she got a txt saying to call or she will get arrested.

Fake. Don't answer or call back

Same as above. Robotic voice threatening to have me arrested. Scam!

I received the same voice mail as mentioned in the above comment. Definitely a scam.

I received a call from (08) 9468 9717 and the moment i answered it went to a voicemail asking me to call on this number immediately failing which i'll be arrested by the police for income tax fraud. I knew it was a scam but still i rang on this number a person with Indian accent answered the phone saying he is from Australian Taxation Office. He asked me to provide my name and address. I told him my name but refused to provide my address. I said to him if he is from ATO he should have all my details. He stated if i don't provide address then i should hang up and they are sending police to arrest me. At this point I told him that I work for SAPOL and told him to send the police and I’m happy to get arrested. He then starting abusing me in Hindi and even used abusive language for my parents. I gave him a good dose in Hindi over the phone.
It is surprising that these scammers are now calling from Australian numbers. So beware and don’t answer calls from this number.

Scam Call. Asking for call back other wise will arrest you. Hahahaaa!

100% Scam

Had a missed call. Called back. Answered with some line about being from an investigation division. I hung up
