keeps calling and hanging up

Called me at inconvenient time. I didn't answer but thanks for the heads up. Will block. Interesting to know if those who were told it was Optus are in fact Optus customers. I am.

calls at least twice a day, have blocked the number after a few days of this, they have left a few voice mails of just hello, hello. Sometimes its a guy voice or a girl voice, the girl voice said is this ( my name) and then hung up in one of the voicemails. Since having them blocked this still goes directly to my voicemail and are just left with breathing and noise in the background of a call center. Am going to have to delete my voicemail now so I don't receive 2 everyday.

Called and claimed to be from Optus.
Total time waster! Hung up on him and put him on my blocked list.

Been receiving calls from this number for past 2 weeks. I don't answer and they never leave a voicemail. Have blocked this number after reading everyone's comments.

It's Optus, they cold call us, tell us they're recording the call, then when we're not interested, the crazy telemarketers continue with nuisance calls.

Constantly ringing my mum but no one answers

Got 4 calls in 4 days. Ignored them. Decided to answer one after I read comments here. There was a 10 second pause and I was about to hang up when someone spoke. Said they were from NTC and ringing on behalf of Optus. Were gonna save me money and wanted my D.O.B. to confirm who I was. I told them that they called me and that I wouldn't be giving out that info. They said it was required in order to proceed. I told them that the phone call would have to end then. I got the feeling that they knew some info, possible an ex-employee had stolen some partial data and they were trying to piece everything together for possible identity theft later.

I have also been getting these calls every single day for over a week. It's now firmly on my blocked list.

Had a call from this number the guy said he was from Optus (who I am with). He knew all my details ie. Address, name, my phone plan. Just had to confirm D.O.B. As I only have my mobile on my plan he said if I ever connect a home phone or wifi then I will get a $10 discount. He sounded legit but after reading these comments I'm a bit suspicious...!
Also said they will call again in a year.

These people call me every day. So much for the do not call registry as I placed myself on there about a month ago. Am sick of these people calling me.

I've received 3 calls in 2 days from this number. When I called back, it was an "unmanned voicemail" for NTC Voice Solutions, apparently a telemarketing company that works on behalf of Optus.

I've been called 6 times in the last few days. I've ignored each time.

I am an optus customer, but my plan is under my husbands name, not mine.
If it's so important that you ring me every day, leave a message !!!

Think I'll block the number now after reading these comments

Have received many calls over the last couple of days. Rang saying they were from Optus checking to see ifI was happy with their service etc. Seemed knowledgable and not pushy and while it's possible it could be above board I feel it's a scam. After speaking to them, they rang back 12 times the following day in a 2 hour period without leaving a message. Also came up as a 61 number. For these reasons decided it was dodgy. Moral to the story, use caution giving info to a cold caller. Presume they could be anyone.

Rings constantly, I'm disabled so have trouble picking up and answering phone and when I do no one answers.
