Calls me every single day (sometimes twice a day) but I haven't picked up and definitely won't be picking up now that I've found this page

always called me everydayfor the last 1.5 months. i never pick up the phone since i dont know the number. its suspicious.

I just had similar experience he purported to e from Optus. He got the name correct. Total scam. When I questioned him he hanged up. Beware of this scammer! They are doggie but this one add another plank to scammers! Totally arrogant and rude!

This number keeps calling me twice a day, since the 29th of August!
My mother told me not to pick up calls from strange numbers ;)
After reading these comments I've concluded that it's a scam as I'm with Telstra (though I was with Optus for 8 years).

I also keep getting this number. Have now blocked it - had similar calls to my husband's phone about his Telstra phone plans, must be going around.

Same deal as the rest of the complaints. Said he was from Optus, asked for my date of birth. I refused, asking how could I be sure he was from Optus. He said he wanted me to get the best value for money service. I told him I was happy with my service. He said perhaps he could offer me a better internet plan. I said I was happy with my internet service. He then, awkwardedly, ended the call. I have since had a text message from Optus, asking me to take a survey about my contact with them on the relevant date. So, what gives?

Hi Guys, I am pig sick of seeing this number on my screen. I now simply let the call ring out..

Had a call from thus number, the guy who spoke said he was from optus and was offering me a better plan. He asked for my date of birth, and I said I was happy with the plan I was on (I had no intention of telling him my date of birth) and be said I only thought I was happy with my plan. I hung up on him at that point as it sounded like a scam

Keeps calling, no talking, no background sound just silence. Creepy. Do not answer.

When I called back, it was an unmanned voice message with a blocked out number. It was a woman's voice but had a kid like tone. The background was noisy and/or static.

Definitely a call centre - ring several times a week. Am over these pests calling - have blocked the number. They have also have tried my home number which is unlisted - go figure!!!

Receive calls every few days. Noisy background, no-one speaks. Number now blocked!
