Man with foreign accent from "Senior Health Forum" (whatever that is...) wanting to ask questions about lifestyle, health, etc. "It will only take a few minutes..." Like someone here mentioned he is a 'senior' and so am I.

WHERE is the "Senior Health Forum" getting the phone numbers of 'seniors' from??? I have "Calling Number Display" and added this number to the list of numbers I just don't answer. Although, occasionally, depending on my telephoneansering mood, I leave the handset on the table and just leave it there. If the line is still open after half an hour, I hang up. Other times, I hear the engaged sign. My lifestyle, health and whatever is nobody's business.

Scam caller (Indian Call Centre) phones regularly pretending to represent various organisations.

Found this number on my phone after being out, glad I looked this up, as I am a Senior.....

Have had a number of calls from this number (which I do not answer as I don't recognise it) and they always hang up when my answering machine kicks in.

Got a call from this number. Could not understand them. Rang the number back and got a message that the number was disconnected.

I received a call from an Asian woman in an overseas call centre wanting to ask a few lifestyle questions for the Australian Seniors health forum. A fake name of course.
I asked for the phone number but she hung up.
Once again we have an overseas call centre (usually Indian) lead generating for Australian businesses (usually financial) to get you to depart with your money.
I am on the DoNotCall register. But these call centres deliberately ignore the DoNotCall legislation and ACMA. Lead generation is deemed as telemarketing by ACMA.
Try as we may to complain to ACMA about these lead generating call centres, it fails to stop them from continuing with this practice.

Hung up when answering machine took call

Man claimed his name was John Appleton from ATO (08) 9274 8638) and i needed to call (02) 8417 2795 or i would be arrested by the commonwealth for tax fraud... OK!

I called back number (08) 9274 8638 rang 4 times then goes to busy tone.

It is a scam. Overseas call centre.

Keeps calling. No message left. Go away.

Just got a call from the same woman, have had my number on the DoNotCall register for over 4 years so this seems to be coming from an overseas call centre then routed through a number in Adelaide
