Indian woman claiming to be from Telstra - to discuss my internet connection- we’re not with Telstra so I just said “bulls$&t” and hung up.
They haven’t called back

they're a pest, called 3-4 times a day. same bullsh*t! claiming to be Telstra. I asked them how much is it going to cost? nothing! just turn on your computer. I said "No! I don't be believe you" then they hang up but they keep calling every single day and multiple times. So sick of it. Telstra is so advanced in their technology and development and yet they say they're but unable to do anything to stop this nonsense which is a ship load of Bullsh*t!!! Such a shame, such a big company with so much power but chose to standby and watch many Australian being bullied and harass by a bunch of scammers.

I Hang up when no one spoke - fortunately new phone able to block unwanted numbers see if that works

Gave me the story hackers were onto my internet connection and she would help me via my computer. I asked for her phone number to confirm she was with telstra. She gave me a 1800 726 905 number that happens to be Exhibition st Melbourne telstra shop. It was closed. She is a very cool and calculating person to talk to.. Obviously a scammer given the 089xxxxxxx phone number that was on caller ID.

Claiming to be from Telstra, Shed did give me a ID number though I just had a feeling this was not correct.
I hung up on her. They only called back once.

Nuisance call, supposedly from Telstra

Scam call offering to "fix" my computer/internet, when there isn't even a problem in the first place. Hung up on them but they keep calling from various phone numbers.

Said ip address was being hacked. I argued , we argued for twenty minutes. She would not hang up , got ridiculous.Told me she would be calling me every day many times. And she has. I answered a couple of numbers and it was her on all of them. 02 numbers 08 numbers 07 numbers. They are all just numbers they make up with an app to change where it is coming from. I rang telstra to get them to find the source. They said oh is just overseas ill block overseas numbers. But i am STILL getting calls from a heap of different numbers all day. Surely Telstra can find where they are originating from . I am going to keep trying to contact someone at telstra who can do this.

This is another fake Indian based "Telstra Technical Support" scammer.
Don't let them near your devices.
Called me, and the number is in the block list. They will change numbers eventually, but this will stop them temporarily.
ACMA needs to act against the hosting providers that provide the numbers in Australia.

i just got the call from (08) 9247 5712 and it was supposedly from Telstra which i get once - twice a week and this time i basically told them i was from Telstra and that i was tracing the number well i guess they really didnt want to talk they hung up straight away. (which is a total lie but they dont know this) .

I have had 6 calls to-day one an hour claiming for telstra. - They have come for private numbers this number and 0447 069 137 it is getting very annoying and they are not letting up.

A female voice said that she, Rose, was calling from Telstra, She said my internet connection had a problem. I have had these calls before. I have contacted Telstra in the past about these calls andTelstra have told me that they did not call me. "Rose" had an overseas accent.

I hung up and received a further 3 calls . I put these calls onto my answering machine in order to receive a message, but no message was left. I am very suspicious about these calls.

Said my computer was open to hackers. I told them my home phone is not linked to the internet and hung up. The called yesterday but from a different number.

Said she was from Telstra, & her name was "Rose" & I was sending corrupted messages to my I.P provider through e-mails. Threatened to disconnect us. Told her we're NOT with Telstra & I hung up. She rang back 4 times telling me not to hang-up on her again, ended up leaving the phone off the hook for 20mins.
