lady claiming to be from telstra.i said r u still going with that scam?.she assured me it definately was not a scam and my internet ip had been hacked when i asked for the ip number they had she claimed again she was from telstra then i asked for an ABN and she hung up

Our office gets 3-4 calls from this number PER DAY!! It is just a hang up. Can we block this number? How?

Called my dad saying they were Telstra telling him that hackers were trying to get into his account with iTunes gift cards. Said they were going to put $700 dollars into his account for him to buy more gift cards to somehow magically identify the hackers. Obvious scam.

Caller: Some B***h from a telemarketing mob

These idiots won't be told! I answered and told them I have not been with Telstra for 15years plus AND I have no desire to deal with Telstra AND I am fed up with these calls SO don't call again! Less than a minute later----she called again. I let her listen to my boring message and then blocked the call.

Claiming to be from Telstra & there's something srong with my internet. I tell them to "eff off" & hang up, there's multiple calls every day.

I get multiple calls from this number claiming to be from Telstra & there's something wrong wih my computer. When I call this number I'm told "this call could not be connected, check the number & try again".

Just got same phone call claiming they where from telstra and someone was illegally using my internet. Got angry when i challenged call and said they where not from telstra.

Had the same today. Asked what the weather was like in Melbourne. Her reply "Oh I'm not going to give you a weather report" told her she was full of sh*t & hung up.
Get so many calls from these people it's frustrating. Being a business phone you have to answer. I had a run of getting 4 calls a day for a week !!!!

Caller: 2 CALLERS, 1 MALE 1 FEMALE

Hard to understand, asked what she wanted to do, she said put some numbers in your
internet computer, (Said I had problems with my internet) I said didn't know how to do that, she said I shouldn't have a computer if I don't know how to put these numbers then said she cant help and hung up.
This is all good fun if youre not busy,, you can keep them on the line for quite a while going around in circles..... BUT DONT LET THEM INTO YOUR COMPUTOR....

Same thing as above - first one I just told to F off, the 2nd I pretended to be a moron and they hung up on me. Number now blocked.

Received 2 calls from this woman claiming my internet has been hacked, insisting no one else from Telstra could help me. I asked for an Employees ID # and a reference # so I could call Telstra myself. She gave me an ID # but couldn't give me a ref #. Then she hung up on me.

Constantly calling claiming to be telstra and that i have an issue with my internet. Calls 2 or 3 times a day. Hangs up after I tell them that I have reported them to the police for harrassment.

multiple calls per day sometimes abusive. How do we stop this!?

Scam

First call from 'Daisy' from 'Telstra Technical Department' to tell me in a strong Asian accent that there was a problem with our Internet. Told her she must have the wrong number because we don't have Internet and hung up. Two calls from same number in the following two hours but no one answers when I pick up. Now on blocked call list on router! Pity my poor (very good) physio who has to get his receptionist to call patients because people hang up when they hear his accent when he asks for them!

Said she was from Telstra so I asked her for her employee ID number.
Replied with "dee dee".
Caller her a scammer and hung up.

Called twice today, so second time thought id play along and have some fun. Played dumb then when I finally pretended to comply and do what they said “oh no I turned it off sorry” she then said the only way to fix my comp was to turn it off n throw it in the bin haha

Claiming to be from Telstra saying that my internet connection had been hacked and it was very serious, I told her she was a scam and asked who she was etc... then I hung up on her.

From the number one can see another scam call.I did not answer
