This Number keeps calling but hangs up as soon as we answer.

could you PLEASE block this number (08) 8996 9032 they rang @1.05pm and when we go to say hello then they hang up

Rang saying he was charity today and had 2 or 3 charity questions for me. He had a very thick accent, I had to have him repeat the name 3 times to understand. I was googling as he was talking and was lead to here.

My take is that it is a grooming scam. I’ve had another one of this type in regards to a bank. They’ll ring, get your info and also ask which charities you like, who you donate to, etc etc and then in a week or so, call back using that info to attempt to get you to hand your card details over. Total scam.

Now a recorded message trying to say phone and internet will be cut as nbn is available in our area. Funny as we were first ones in our state on nbn!

I wish i could block this number (08) 8996 9032 so far 14 calls from this number, when i try to call back it is either engaged or doesnt go through for some reason. The last call being at 6.54 AM Bloody annoying!

Caller: Called themselves ‘Charity Today’

They knew my full name including middle name, my address, although I told them I don’t talk about personal details to a company I never gave details to. ‘Madison’ said they represent many charities including Diabetes Australia and several others. I googled them and asked for their website address and phone number, she and others in the background laughed. I reported to scamwatch.

Called number back, went straight to message bank with th option of “opting out of phone calls” yeah I called back, left a message, I may or may not have sworn at them. Sick to death of cold callers

I called back number (08) 8996 9032 reached voice mail but did not say for what company.

Received a call from this number but I was not able to pick it up. I returned the call later but no one picked it. The automated voice said that the person at that extension is not available.

rang specifically for me as i did not know the number i always say the targeted person isnt here and ask to take a message they never leave a message so i gather cant be to important
