Some guy called "Allan" from "third party insurance company" clearly a scammer.

glad my phone flags spam calls - this number has been calling me regularly for like 3 months at least. i need to give them a call from a payphone or something, absolutely ridiculous

Called to discuss the vehicle accident I wasn't in.

Repeated calls with no voicemail left.

Called to discuss my work cover claim - no such thing then all of a sudden it was regarding a car accident. I asked for the information ge had regarding such claims and he palmed it off as not having such details as they are 3rd party company. Said they were calling from Adelaide but he definitely was not Australian

Been getting lost of calls that drop out as soon as I answer, getting to the point I recognise certain numbers as potential scams but as a small business owner I can’t afford to ignore all calls. Today this one said was from a compensation firm - I hung up immediately

Claimed to be from accident compensation, saying i had filled in a work cover incident about an injury i had sustained at work.

Called me a about a workplace accident I was involved in but I'm retired and never had a workplace accident.

Was a very busy call centre, the woman with an accent kept repeating "hello, hello, helooo", and then hung up.. It came through as "spam or potential to fraud" on my phone.

It’s a scam from an insurance company about an accident I had in Adelaide ( never had an accident in Adelaide. So I thought I would play along)I asked her which one as I had a few and if it was about the guy I ran over I’m pretty sure he was never going to claim because when I braked my semi trailer tyres made him into a pizza. She didn’t know what to say so I said nah just joking and hung up. ( would love to have seen her expression lol.

Had two calls from this number.
First call there was no-one there.
Second call was from someone from insurance type agency wishing to speak with me about the car accident I had.
I had not had any such accident.
