AGL automated call re bill due

I received a phony from this number claiming to be from the ATO. Sounded official, Indian accent, not the greatest line. I asked for a reference number suits its call back. Seems to be a scam. I'll check with ATO.

Caller: Said the guy was from AGL, wasn't clear.

Knew my name, said the caller was from AGL.
AGL must have shared our information. It's quite intriguing that AGL would leak personal information.

Caller: Asian lady saying she was from AGL

Obviously a scammer

Rang several times with no message. Terribly noisy connection that kept dropping out. Could not understand the meaning of the call and who it was from. I asked twice and she said it was AGL. I doubted this.

Asian lady asking for details and saying from AGL and put me oh hold and played music AGL

Caller: indian from AGL

a man with Indian accent said he was from AGL and knew my name and mentioned my name several times. very creepy. he could not hear me according to him. ended hanging up.
no reason for agl to call me.

Caller: Claims to be from AGL

Asian accent and a HUGE voice delay of over 5 seconds. Asking for me by name and wants to talk about my account. Asking for ID. I hung up.
