Refused to give details inferred overdue account. Asked if I give them an account number can they tell me the due date. No action My bill paid on time for years and get a receipt emailed to me. Therefore I believe it is a scam.

Probably AGL - 99% - unless it is a very elaborate & sophisticated scam.
My android phone said it was suspected spam. So I decided to ring the no. and a recorded message said "thanks for calling AGL energy" etc.
I usually receive SMS from them notifying my account due or overdue
but there is no ph number on these SMS, only a web link.
It made me wonder HOW can they not display their ph no. in texts when I can't send anonymous SMS even when my ph is set to "ph no. hidden". Oh well- big end of town yada yada

My phone came up to saying:susepective spam .didn't leave a message

They've been calling a lot lately. People are saying it's AGL, so I answered finally. However there was no one on the other end of the line. So I can not confirm or deny.

It could be AGL, it could be a scam. The fact is I have only one account with AGL and I'm a large amount in credit each quarter because it's a commercial building covered in solar panels. So I doubt it's about a bill, as they pay me a few thousand a year.

I'll keep answering and maybe someone will talk to me so I can update this.

Calls several times a day.Never leaves a message

Called too many time in silent. No messages have been sent

Keeps calling doses leave message
