Said you'd won a free phone, scam

Offering new phone plan but told them as I am only 16 I could not enter a contract. They asked if any family members would be interested and I said no, they laughed and asked for my real age and eventually hung up.

Random scammer call centre saying they’re a phone company from Perth

They said i am eligible for a free phone. Told them I can’t accept and gave them the phone number to my supervisor and told them they can only approve this. They asked for the number and I gave them the number for the Cybersecurity office

Caller: Zero Clue

Leaving the call type as unknown since I'm unsure on this one. Didn't really bother with calling them back.

Called me and just said "Hello?" with some background noise. Definitely a form of Australian accent, female, and if you replay it enough it's distinguishable to be a guy. Missed the call and had it sent to voicemail, so no experience with scam content. They only care if you pick up the phone.

Called saying my number was randomly selected to win a free phone

Went quiet and they hung up on me in less than 10 seconds

This number come up on my phone as a Malborne number, but they said that they are from Sydney. I might add, this dude sounded so boring, but I played along. Apparently I was selected to win a free phone but there would be a payment .. surprise surprise

Scammer ringing at 4.30 am!

Random scammer saying they’re part of an electronics company in Sydney, wanted to offer me a free phone/laptop. I said no thank you not interested, then tried to say I can get a free refrigerator instead.

They just want your information.
