What's this really Norton trying to get my bank account numbers

got a call they who advised that they were from Ebay and that someone from NZ had purchased online worth $330 using my credit card details he then asked if he wanted me to cancel the fraudulent purchase and refund my card. I played along ...the indian guy asked for my credit card no for a refund no...I said that if he knew it was fraudulent then he would already have my card details from my ebay account details...he became quite insitent about my about wanting my details it was then I let him that was on to him because I don't have either an ebay acc or a credit card...he then hung up very quickly...bloody scammers!!!

Got an email to say payment successfully processed for Norton auto renewal subscription for $279.98
Never signed up for this .
Rang the number (08) 8121 5733 , the person said will refund the money back, asked him what account that was charged on , he couldn’t provide the details and I did not provide any of my personal details and no account details. So not sure how he’s going to refund that, checked my account , no transaction put through.
