SCAM BEWARE They told me they were from Ebay and they were confirming a direct debit - ITunes Order @ $190. Obviously I denied the order and told them to cancel it, it was fraudulent. "Harry" then said he needed Me to cancel it and asked me to go to my play store app on my phone and bring up TeamViewer, I hung up immediately. If you are reading this, never bring up TeamViewer for anyone.

Perhaps if the Australian Govt spent as much time chasing down these scammers as they do victimising poor people with robodebt these type of ripoffs could be prevented

Yeah, just had the same call. Rang them back - the number does answer as eBay - told the monkey to do rude things to himelf. Have also reported this number to ASIC. Same story as the others on this page, about iTunes for $199.00, etc, etc. Beware!

They call me two days in a row and introduce themselves Ebay help desk, than I give them a call they said someone use my credit card and made some on line purchases. When I asked them frm where they said frm Japan, they purchase I-Tune $150 so they will help me to cancel it, And they ask my credit card Num and the driving license Num and they send me the email Num and told me to send my driving license a photo copy in that email address which is Jaysmith4326 @ gmail.com.After send the copy of driving license they strate way cut the line. And how many times u call to them they are not pick up ur ph. So don’t provide anything to them if u did just cancel ur card immediately.
