FYI folks this number is genuine and not a scam (I'm Westpac Staff).

scammers pretending to be westpac

One of those annoying machine calls. You say hello and there's silence. Usually only gets routed to a teleworker when you say hello a few times, like you're keen to talk to someone.

I called back the number (08) 7989 7771 and reached vm that said I reached Westpac

Of course u would say that if your a scammer
