I am in WA and looks like this is a scam call from the NT. Be careful!! Missed it and when rang back it was engaged???

Call from Darwin. A fellow said he wanted to talk to me about my Visa account, and I asked where he was from and he said Visa Fraud department and then he was somewhat interrupted and came back sayin he was from Telstra and I said but you just said you were calling from Visa and again he said he said he was calling from Telstra and again I said he first told me he was calling from Visa. I then told him the call was being recorded and he hung up. Obviously he has too much work on his hands trying to scam people and he is forgetting which scam he calling about. Blocked the number

Automated message saying it was Amazon Prime and I was about to be charged $99.99 to renew my Prime account, which I don’t have.

A call that dropped in a couple of seconds. Sounded like an IP telephony establishing a connection. Called back, the service is switched off. Scam likely

Caller: "Arlin Brown" from Telstra ID: 3IS1250

Guy said he was from Telstra tech support and that my phone and internet were going to be shut down immediately if I hung up, due to other scammers trying to hack me. I asked to speak to his supervisor, "Mary Smith" but she was on a call. I kept asking questions and eventually, he hung up on me. Darwin, NT call.

Don't know anyone in Darwin. Obviously a scam call. Didn't answer.

I had exactly the same experience. I’ve now blocked the number

They didn't leave a message. I don't know anyone from Darwin as well. Possible scam
