Wanted to verify local hall on Google Maps. Ok with it until they asked if I was close to a computer, too many scams going around so said no thank you. Had something said to me that I didn't understand (spoke in Indian?) and they hung up

Called to verify the location of the place that was added to google map!!

Caller: Deemed themselves to be Google

Asking me to verify Google Business. But sounds very suspicious

Answered, they hung up immediately. I won't answer a call from this number again.

They called today, I did no recognise the number. I looked on this site and see the number is dodgy

Caller: I don’t know

I answered and they immediately hung up. Tried to call back from my landline and it just said number busy.

Called saying they were from Google and wanted to verify my business details. sounded suspicious to me. didn't like being told I wasn't interested.

I answered the call. They disconnect without saying a word.

I answered the call quickly but they hung up. I called back but they cut my call. That seemed suspicious so I've blocked the number.

Suspicious - they tried to get me to click on a link of theirs

Caller: clames to be from Google

I Hung up

I didn't answer and my voicemail recorded the other end speaking to their colleagues in Indian.

Tried to call back on another phone, "due to service difficulties you cannot be connected to this number". Very sus.
