Caller: A lady from "Enza"

Someone from "Enza" called, and pretended to conduct a research survey, then in the end tried to sell life insurance.

At the start of the call, I repeatedly asked if this was simply a research survey, and they said "yes" (in a strong South African accent). I'm always happy to answer legitimate surveys, so I cooperated. But the lady seemed disinterested in my answers, which was suspicious. Then at the end, she started trying to convince me that I needed life insurance and income protection insurance to "protect me and my family".

Also, I am on the Do Not Call register.

When I got upset at this, they tried to keep me on the line and transfer me to a manager to deal with it. I just ended the call.

called me this morning on my mobile, no message, so did not answer.

Called twice. Did not answer as not known number. They ring 3 rings then hang up

missed a call from this in Sydney yesterday at 5.59pm my phone recognised it as an Adelaide number more than likely a scammer

Answered the call. The call was terminated at their end. They have called multiple times.

Just got a new mobile number a week agi and have only given the number to my family and my bank and still these idiots rang me!

This number called this afternoon, was missed, I called back, asked me to press 1 if I am calling from a number they have called, I did so... I was cut off! I am expecting a call from a consultant that's why I rang back, regret it now, I hope they're not hackers...

Asking to call them back.
It's a survey then life insurance sales pitch.
They're ignoring the do-not-call register.

Got a call just then from this number.

I answered and there was no one there. On my phone it says the number was rung from Adelaide.

Anyone know what this is about?

I answered it by saying "hello" twice, then hang up without saying a word.

When i picked up, the call was terminated at their end.

Spam caller doing surveys. Don't bother picking up. They say they randomly generate your number.

Didn't answer - Checked this site after they phoned and will now block them.

Called me but I did not answer - No voice mail - no message.
Didn't call back.

Pretended to be conducting a survey, as soon as I heard the ‘is it important to you to look after your family’ I knew it was to do with life insurance and hung up! Pretty sneaky to be pretending to be conducting a survey. I’m on the do not call register so I’ll assume it’s a scheme to get around that
