Same, perported to be from ATO with Tax Refund

It’s fraud .. I also got call from Some Mr. Anderson .. saying they need to deposit tax back to my account .. it’s scam

He claims to be from the ATO, then hangs up as soon as he thinks you wont comply. He yells abuse when you keep calling him back, so I will keep calling him daily!

i just got a call and good to check this site before i call them back

They called me and introduced them as from the ATO with tax Refund and I knew it was a scam but played along with them. So I asked why they didn't confirm my details as all Gov agencies do, they passed me onto their superior. When talking to him I asked the same question he his comments were "ask you mother" and then he hung up!

I recalled the number and in playing with them, and they asked for either a Mastercard or Visa. I asked if they could direct deposit into my bank account and this is their response: "in that case you will not be receiving the refund". I said I'll provide a card but they must first confirm my details such as DOB and Address. It was then they hung up on me again!

received a call from this number and the guy sounds to be a Nigerian, calling from ATO. He hung up when I asked him to send me a confirmation email about my refund.

Just now got call from ATO, asking visa, credit card, they will send $800 to my bank, please be aware

no vm left, tried to call back but it just goes blank

As soon as he mentioned ATO I told him to get off my phone as it was a scam and I hung up.

Received an automated call saying to call (08) 7200 0066 back or police will be on my doorstep

Recorded message claiming to be an ATO officer and asking for the call to be returned.

Someone claiming to be "Officer Tom" from the ATO.

When asked for his full name he ended the call.

omg ATO scammers! so funny i gave him a fake credit card number for my 800$ refund and then laughed and asked how dumb he thought i must be.

He claimed that the ATO have a law suit against me, then he hung up. He got extremely angry when I kept calling him back, I think I call him back a few times every day :)

Scam from Indian dude pretending to be from Aust Tax Dept.
When I called him out he said I was F%CK#D.
