Just got same message ,probaly just some loany sad person

Hi keep getting calls from that number its blocked then i get messages from that number, its getting more frequent, havent reported it

I had same stuff. First phonecall from withheld no. then texts i thought were from a friend then the texts got weird so i asked who it was and got the reply liam. i realised it wasnt a friend and i stopped responding. I am not on gum tree.

I have been receiving messages from (08) 7099 4870.  It started with a random private no. call.  This was obviously to see if I was female.  The text was as if it was a wrong no from Liam about credit.  A woman named Sara is also mentioned.  It starts off friendly and then it turns into sex and a demand for a telephone sex conversation.  This Liam puts you off guard because he does send a pic of a man (not sure if it is him).  He claims to be from Cavan - Virginia and he is 31 years old.Im not sure how I got into it other than I was intrigued and flattered.  This man is a sham ... be careful, be warned.It was my friend who googled his no. to see if there was anything about him.It seems Liam is a very busy man.I evenually got him to ring me, pretended to be going along with his game.  Told him to stand nake at the window and not to move for 5 minutes as the Garda should be with him soon.  He hung up the minute he realised the game was up.My next move is to contact the Garda.

Receiving 'chatty' text messages for the last couple of days after putting an ad up on gumtree. Haven't replied, but they keep coming. Anyone else?
