Asked if still looking for office space…SCAM! Don’t say yes, just hang up

Caller: Jan (Male)

Jan from The WA Business Development Office called twice today asking if we found on office location. I hung up the first time due to having had this call regularly over the last 3.5 years. I have been trying to ask to remove us from the list but they hang up as soon as they realise I want to be removed. He hung up on me the second time he called otday (about an hour later) when I tried again to be removed from the list.

Philippino guy that has been calling me for years. Asks am I moving, I said I never was and they hang up. They are obviously trying to get lucky with some kind of scam. Said he is from Business Development Office.

(08) 7092 5950 called they wanted to do a "survey" of how many employee's work at this office. So many scams - second one in a row. Liars - they will not even give their domain but they want the email of someone. No giving them anything.

Called and asked the same question over and over. I said we have a month by month lease but they kept asking if it was 3 or 6 months or 6 or 12 months. I eventually kept asking what they business website was because I did not know who they are (I have been looking at properties so I thought it may have been one I contacted). The women said they would email me and I said no. I kept pressing and asking for the website and then she said "hello sir, hello hello?" like she could not hear me and the call ended. Its a bit scammy but I am unsure what they are trying to do and or achieve.

They ask if you are still looking for a new office. I don't get it, they ask some random questions then hang up, I can't see what they are trying to do, they didn't ask for anything that is not common knowledge. Maybe they are testing AI to see if it passes for human...

Same here - has called 4 times this week! Have now told my receptionist to just hang up and not engage in conversation

Business Development Office called several time asking if i am still looking for office space he said ( wont sy her name ) my old employee said she spoke to him as soon as i said she dose not work here. what ever you do dont talk to them just hang up

Some dude with accent called from the WA Business Development Office asking if we found an office location. As soon as I said I have told you earlier no, hung up. I knew as they have called few times this week. DO NOT say YES, when you are answering any call. I always say hello only and wait for them to start talking.

Introduced himself as operation manager, keep calling every 3 months asking whether we have found or still looking for premises. they keep changing phone number.

Assuming this is a scam phone call, asked us if we had found an office location yet or if we were still planning on moving. They call from the Business Development Office every six months or so - think a different number each time.
