Said they were TELSTRA - Scam

called and stated a visa oversees charge ,of 1099 dollars for online shopping... ScAm........ and asked to press a number on keypad to confirm. no number pressed.. then call ended

Rang and hung up after the call went to my voice mail. They did not leave a message. Possible scam call.

Caller: Visa and Mastercard

Answered call and got a recorded message saying it was from visa and Mastercard and there was a $975 bitcoin purchase made on my card, press one to stop or to to pay them. A woman came on the phone, and I called her a scammer, and she hung up call. The number back couldn’t get through wouldn’t answer, got engaged signal.

Pretending to be from Ebay and they gave my 99$ Credit for me and they wanted to know where to transfer the money!!!

Missed call and didn't leave a message. Googled the number (which is the norm these days) and ended up here

I missed the call, and when I called back it didn't pick up

Said they are from nbn as my service isnt getting the right speed all the time

Caller: Claimed from Telstra

I received a call from this number claiming they were Telstra. I told them I don't have Telstra multiple times and he was obviously getting angry (a professional call centre is unlikely to yell at you).

After some back and forth on this I asked 'well, what do you want then?' He told me that there had been some illegal activity on my internet. Wtf?

So I asked him what the name was on the account and he gave me a name. I said I don't know who you're talking about and there's noone with that name here. He apologised quickly and hung up.

Scam don’t answer

AUTOMATED MESSAGE FROM " AMAZON" scam

Caller claimed to be working for "Visa / Mastercard Verification service", hung up at this point and, not surprisingly, they didn't call back.
