Scam, someone purportedly , from Telstra offering one months free bill. Accent was Indian, said I wasn’t interested. She said no worries indicating the call may have come from Australia.

Heard a call centre noise in the background, which I'm understanding lately is usually an indicator of a scam call. Maybe they use this noise deliberately to make it seem genuine - it was the same background noise when someone rang me the other day about my Telstra internet (I don't have Telstra for anything). The person today was chirpy and knew my first name. I responded noncommittedly and she hung up straight away. Dodgy. A scam caller

Omg I just received call said that Amazon hacked your account but I can’t believe I don’t have Amazon account. Just disconnect the call.

Said someone had purchased a $500 gift card from my eBay and they needed to confirm if it was me or not. I asked if she could provide me with my account details and how they knew that and she hung up
