Person said it's about my internet account. Rubbish

Beware of this unlisted number as it is almost certainly yet another spoofed number being used by cyber criminals. As this number was not recognised it was left to ring out with no message being recorded on completion.

Scam call saying about my internet absolute scum bag

caller hung up when answering machine operated. telehone number is not known to me as either friend or relative. if genuine it is not difficult to leave a message on an answering machine. please beware if this pest contacts.

Calling, saying they are from Commonwealth bank. Told him that was a load of crap and hung up. Total scam

I received a missed call and they left a voicemail. When listening to it, the automated female voice said they are from Paypal calling regarding a payment thatdid not go through. I do not have a paypal account and if I did, I would not trust this voicemail or call either.

Caller: Amazon Prime

Received an automated voice message saying I will be debited $99.99 for my Amazon prime account. If I wish to cancel I needed to press 1. Thought it was legit so pressed one and got through to Indian speaking people with lots of people asking similar questions in the background (SPAM central). Got me to install remote desktop software which I did but didn't go any further as I work comfortable for anyone to provide an access code so they could remotely get onto my computer and cancel my Amazon prime account. Made him wait whilst I checked my Amazon prime account. I cancelled this six months prior and when I questioned him on he hung up.
