A lady called and said they were calling from Telstra when they wear clearly calling from an Indian call centre and asked for my internet speed and said that speed is too slow (The internet check told me my speed is high) and then she asked me to log in to an app where I had to enter a number given (which I pretended to do) they wanted access to phone and password. This was clearly a scam call. I asked the lady where she was calling from and she said Sydney and then I asked which part of Sydney and she said sorry and I asked which part of Sydney are you from and then she hung up on me. Please do not give access to your mobile or computer.

They claimed to be from the Commonwealth Bank saying my card was used. I just hung up because I could clearly hear it was a scam call centre. Why am I getting these calls constantly and why isnt the government doing something about it? Makes me so ANGRY

I didn't pick up after reading these comments but the call was immediately followed by another from (02) 9189 7935 and shortly before that, 0422 183 207. Both numbers have no history and I presume that they are part of the same scam.

I answered (without saying hello or anything, to see who they were), they hung up without saying a word.

Claimed to be from CBA saying did you authorise $800 to a bloke named Smith in the USA. I said huh a few times send then asked I was dumb and hung up. Definitely Indian scam.

Curry scam

Scammer tried to claim I had 800 dollars from my bank account being sent to someone else as fraud. She claimed to be from Banks Frauds. I asked if this is true what bank am I with? And she said she couldn't share my personal information over the phone clearly a scammer.

Repeated calls from this number claiming to be from telstra. As soon as I block the number they ring me from a different number. When I don't answer no message is left

Man coughing on the phone, first talking in Indian, then realised I picked up.

Said he was calling from Telstra and that my internet is slow. Not with Telstra, then I said my internet is good and he said really how do you know.

Then he hang up.

Said something about a recent order with an issue - I don't order through Amazon so hung up

Someone tried to say that they were going disconnect my telstra internet connection because I hadn't paid an outstanding bill.

I don't even have an internet account with telstra. I just told them I did not have a account with telstra and hung up
