Just rang and hung up, multiple calls. Felt like a scam

Scam eBay I bought a gift card for $500. Asked them how their mother thought about what they do for a job by scamming people, promptly hung up.

f*ckers just told me they're from telstra and that my ip setting on modem had changed from private to public and that this posed a security risk, then line hung up. dodgy as..

Same here, slight pause then what sounded like a recorded message saying my Amazon service would be renewed and deducted from my bank account unless I pressed 1 at which point I hung up asI haven't purchased anything from Amazon for years andthey don't have my bank details anyway, I agree definately a scam!

Did not recognise the number , so did not answer. No message left. Researched the number. Now blocked. Thanks for the information, guys, so helpful.

I had a call earlier from a number I didn’t recognise, so I checked on here. As I was not able to take the call anyway, I asked them to call me back in 5 minutes .
Yes it was a scam.
When they called me back, it was from a different number “calling from Telstra about my IP address!” I hung up, and have blocked both numbers.

Caller: Potential scam

Calls our landline and hangs up when answer phone comes on. Never leaves a message. Wretched pest.

A scam. An initially very convincing person (Adam) claimed to be a Senior Fraud Investigator from bank and that someone was making multiple attempts to use my cards. Fortunately I was near my bank and advised him I would continue the call from the bank at which point he hung up.

Scam. Claimed to be from security department of both Visa and MasterCard.

indian lady saying she was from mastercard security. i asked her what was wrong with my mastercard ...silence while someone whispered new lines to her.. She then said two fraudulent transaction were recorded at 4:00am this morning I asked how did she know they were fraudulent? more whispering ..i then told her i dont have a master card so Bu%%er off! She did hahah Indian scam call

Hung up as soon as I answered. Scam call.

Caller: Said they were Telstra billing

Rang me saying that I I was eligible for a 50% discount on my Telstra bill, knew my phone number, email address and wanted my phone number. Wouldn't send me anything in email until thwy 'authenticated' me. I hung up. Scam, scam, scam.

Rang a few times and stopped. definitely scam material.

Usual odd looking number from interstate... no message left. Checked this site, now blocked.

Indian sounding lady saying she was from Telstra and offering a discount on my account. She knew my name and email. Wanted my birth date to confirm I was the account holder and when I declined the call was terminated.

I didn't answer as it's Adlaide number and I do not know anyone from SA, definitely scam call.
