Called it back, straight to an overseas VoIP connection. Clearly a call centre or scammer....wow what are the odds?

Caller: Identified themself as SA Solutions

Said they were selling solar panels.

Caller: It said private number?

On answering I got and Indian accented guy who ran a spill of Energy savers. I stopped him before he could go further to explain I got a call on this very same number yesterday. Although yesterday it was Child Support calling. Thanked him for his name, company and told him I would be giving the number to police. Checked with Child Support today and they did a review call the day prior to this call. So, still suss on this number. Child Support are also looking at why their number is being used! :/ Government selling or sharing our information? Where do they get their hands on the information?

Caller: Identified as Green Energy

Rang my mobile to discuss Green Energy, clearly a scammer (male). I got rid of him quickly. But... then one minute later the same number calls my husband's phone, this time a female about solar. So, who is selling our phone numbers, or where are they getting them from?

Caller: Don't know some Indian i expect

I told them they were speaking to the chief of police. They hung up. Had blocked the number earlier in the day but got another call.

Definitely a scammer. Don't answer.

Apparently my energy provider gave out all my contact details and they are in my area and have solar panels for me. And yes it was a foreign person on the other end. Who spoke very slowly to ensure his english was understood

They are a bloody nuisance I reversed calling them and invading their Privacy!!!!!!!!! See how they like it?

scam call, i said nothing. i ended call. blocked number.

I received a call from this number (08) 7089 9560 which was automatically blocked by my phone. No voice mail was left. It is pretty irritating.

Phone numbers range from 00 0000 0000 to 09 9999 9999. They don't have to get them from anywhere, they can just call each one and see what happens

Woman phone regarding Solar Panels compulsory something. We dont have solar panels, told her im not authroized, hung up.

Male called from 'Green Energy', clearly a scam. After I questioned him and told him this was a do not call number, I hung up. One minute later the same number calls my husband's phone, this time a female regarding solar. So, where are they acquiring out numbers, or who is selling them?

Sounded like a kid… asking for Wendy…
