They call mobile phone and hang up after three rings so you don't have time to pick up . Some smart person being paid per call and hangs up as soon as it connects. That way they get paid more. I wonder if their boss knows this ?

The Do Not Call register only works for people calling to sell something. Anything done for research, even research for a company are technically exempt. Sucks but it's the way it is.

They call, we answer, they don't respond. Over and over and over again. Have blocked their number and somehow they still call. Just called them and asked them not to call again. They say they won't but I'm not holding my breath.
