Received a call from an automated message (Australian accent) saying their name was 'Peter' and that I or someone in my household had been involved in accident in last 12 months (not the case) and to press 1 to be passed onto a person

Automated message left on voicemail saying paypal was about to debit $299.99 from my account, and to stop it press 1, press 2 for refunds, 3 to talk to customer service. dodgy.

‭(08) 7079 8424‬ Showed on my screen. When I answered I didn’t say anything at first then I said hello. As soon as I spoke they hung up. Dodgy.

Received 2 calls from this number in 3 days. Automated message saying that I or someone in household had a car accident in the past 12 months - untrue. Ignore calls from this number or press option 1 and blow a loud whistle. We have enough on our plate with COVID 19 restrictions without having to put up with these leeches.

Two calls yesterday (2:30pm & 2:31pm)
Two calls today (11:19am & 11:20am)
I didn't answer the first three calls.
When I answered the fourth, silence for one second then they hung up.
