That is the most ridiculous, amateurish scam call I have ever received. The message left doesn’t even pretend to be from anyone, just a statement that $299 will be nominated from the nominated account, call, etc. etc.

This is a confirmation call from Paypal.we have received a purchase request for 299.dollars.the same will be debited from your account automatically if you cancel order press one or call back on (08) 7078 7270

They left a message saying they were from PayPal and I had fraudulent activity on my PayPal account. I spoke to Paypal and they NEVER call directly without prior communication.
