Caller: Scammer

Cold called, stated they were from Telstra, then stated they were a 3rd party working for Telstra, wanted to upgrade my current plan, also asked about providing a new eftpos machine, started asking for DOB, asked 2 or 3 times, stated he would not be able to provide anything without DOB. Never provide DOB to cold callers.

Received call and the guy said he was calling from Optus, I hung up and rang the number back and the guy that answered said he was Telstra!

Have received a few calls from this number, (08) 7077 4885. Always hangs up. Number is Adelaide based.
I presume there is a good reason Telstra doesn’t delist these nuisance numbers. Regular income stream?

Caller: Telstra Business????

Claimed to be from Telstra Business. Highly unlikely. Wanted to tell me rates were going up and to do an account review.
Likely 3rd party reseller.

Just going by above messages. Hung up once the DH knew that I thought this was a BS call. Would love to abuse the F out of them.

Caller: same number

caller said he was from Telstra and would assist in improving our services. I replied that as we only had two mobiles there was no need and hung up. same number had called previous week.
