I answered a call from this 'Adelaide' number and they didn't say anything. I heard call centre noise in the background. Called this number from a number ID blocked landline and it went straight to engaged. Definitely suspicious.

My elderly mum answered the phone and they told her that her electricity would be cut off blah blah blah. When she started to ask a question they hung up! This misinformation has sent hers (and my) anxiety through the roof! These people who ring randoms are cruel, thoughtless people!! This BS needs to stop!!! NOW!!

Answered the call, neither party spoke and the caller hangs up within seconds of answering. Seems pretty dodgy! Im sure I will get a deluge of more spam, cold calls and surveys as a result of answering this number. Blocked and reported.

Scam. Answered with a "jaaaa". Immediately, they hung up.

This number is showing from Adelaide. Has contacted me 7 times, doesn’t leave a msg. If you call it back immediately it goes straight to engaged.

I answered the call from this (08) 7070 6173 Adelaide number and it disconnected after few seconds..

I received a call from this number supposedly to do with my energy account. I asked who my account was with and was answered "How would I know we work with 25 energy retailers". Definitely sounds as though a call centre. Called from another phone, went to engaged.
