Caller: Scammers

Received a call to my mobile, with 08 area code. This is the second call to my mobile that they have made.Today being Friday 03 August I decided to answer, When I heard a guy with an Indian accent & very loud people talking back ground noise I knew instantly that it was 100% a scam. When the guy said he was from Telstra, I didn't let him say anything more, I Immediately said to him EXCUSE ME YOU ARE NOT FROM TELSTRA. He hung up. I didn't even give him a chance to spin his web of lies. They need to be stopped.

Got a missed call from this number. .Looks like they are still doing the rounds.

Caller: They stated they were from Telstra and that I was having trouble with the internet

My response was "go away" scammers. There was a lot of back ground noise and obviously a very heavy accent.

I am sick of this number calling. I never answer & they don't leave a message

I get 3 or 4 hang ups a day from this number

Obvious scam - they hung up on me when they asked 'how are you doing today' and I replied 'I don't think that's any of your business'.

Why are these scams allowed, this country has armies of 'public service' mobs who are supposed to work to protect us - they do nothing other than pay fortunes to their friends to build web sites, might as well close them down and save some tax-payers money...

Caller: "not Telstra"

… but they said they are. pests.

A indian man called claiming they were from Telstra and wanted to talk about my internet. When I said that I didn't have internet with Telstra he hung up.

Caller: Horny little Indian from "Telstra Tech support"

Call centre claiming to be Telstra tech support and they were going to cut my internet off. Asked him for his Telstra Id, full name, his supervisors name and a call reference number just in case I had to call back. His very angry reply was " you can suck my d*ck" and he hung up before I could say no thank you! LOL

Caller: They claim to be from Telstra.

Person with foreign accent either Asian or Indian claiming to be from Telstra and ringing about a problem with the Internet. Scary thing about these calls is that they always ask for me using my name. This is a scam that has been going on for a couple of years.

They ring then as you say hello hang up.. won't answer this one again. Don't know why I bother with a house phone sometimes.

Told me they were from Telstra Business & that unauthorised people are using my internet. Said they could tell me who they are & wanted me to go to my computer. I told her I wasn't going to my computer & if they knew who was using my internet, they should tell me. She hung up. Very noisy background, strong accent.

Scam call pretending to be from Telstra Tech Support. Hung up immediately.

They ring, very time I say who is speaking they hang up.

Fed up with getting these call, twice a day at least. Always late afternoon, dinner time. We don't answer any more once we see the number that's ringing. It's just a scam. Why can't they be shut down?.
