Automated message claiming to be Amazon

Didn’t appear as a contact on my phone so I assumed it be a scammer and didn’t answer.

Checking here it appears I was correct.

Answered phone there was the 'pause'. It was a woman who claimed to be from Telstra and that my 'ip address had fallen from private to public and my internet is vulnerable' said she could help me fix it. She had my email address kept asking when I last checked my 'ip address'. I finally hung up.

Automated phone call claiming to be from ANZ and a debit transaction has been attempted on my Credit Card Account. Never had one and closed my accounts with ANZ years ago!

Didn't answer as it's not a number I have in my contacts

Caller said was from Visa and Master card. Wanting to confirm if I made a transaction for $1000

I had my phone on do not disturb. they tried to ring me twice so I answered the second time they rang me and it was definetly a scam call, From what I have heard it is a automated call. I assume it was from amazon? Claiming money or some sh*t. Stupid time wasters.

Picked up and there was the telltale pause then a recorded message claiming to be the Chinese embassy

Caller: Automated message claiming to be Visa/Mastercard

Wanted approval for overseas purchase of $1,300. Hung up.

Rang back. Engaged

I received a call from this number and answered, it was a man claiming to be with Telstra, asking questions about how many devices I have etc. Definitely a scam.

Was in another language in audio so its a complete scam. I didn't answer so audio was left and now blocked the number.

I didn't answer the call. A message was left that sounded muffled.
I assumed it was a scam call

Claimed that there was a problem with my NBN and he was going to help me sort it out. Knew straight away it was a scam call and hung up.

Claimed to be NBN Speed check, calling from Sydney but the number is QLD.......
