If you have the time, play along with these mongrels. Pretend you had a minor accident (nose to tail or while pulling out of a parking spot or something). They’ll tell you that you can make a claim (usually up to $40,000 for minor injuries like whiplash from some “special fund”. Once they think you’re hooked, they’ll put you through to the Supervisor. See if you can get them to email you something (don’t open it, but save it to your computer briefly), or give them a pretend bank account. The more time they waste on the phone to you, the less they’re scamming others. Then report everything to the Aus Government “Scamwatch” site. https://www.scamwatch.gov.au/report-a-scam. Part of the reason they get away with it all is that people just hang up on them & ignore them. Reporting the mongrels is the only chance at catching them.

Caller: Scammer - probably a room full of poorly paid desperate people.

Called recently by this number and another from memory. All say the same thing about an accident. I too have not had an accident in quite a few years so I know full well it is a scam.Very disappointing that people make a living this way.

I got a call to my mobile from (08) 6377 7225. The caller hung up when I answered. I called the number back from a private, number blocked land line and went through to a recorded message which said they were a 'Follow Up Team' and referred to an accident. I was then invited to press 1 to get a follow up or 2 if I was not involved in an accident. At this stage i ended the call. I have not been involved in any accidents or incidents and consider to be a scam call. Please be aware and avoid.

Receiving call from this number every few days for the last few months! Very annoying. Most of the time nothing is said - number just hangs up.

Call from the same number and scam today - followup Services. When I asked some questions the british speaking woman got nasty and told me "if you haven't had an accident just tell me & stop &^%king wasting my time". I hung up before she could. You would think scammer would at least want to be polite.

Just got a call, no one spoke then they hung up. Real time waster.

Recorded message by "the follow-up team" calling to see if I may want to make claim for the accident which I "was recently involved in"....supposedly!!!!! (I haven't been involved in any accidents for many years). You can dial from a number of options to proceed, which I didn't take up. Hanging up on this type of scam was my best option.

I received a call from this # (08) 6377 7225 many times since last year 2018. I knew it was a scam caller so I pretended I didn't know. I played with them.... until the caller is about to loose her patience and at the end I swear at her on top my voice " Get f _ _ k you scammer". It was so loud that my wife got frightened.... so I told my wife it's a scammer.

This number is still being spoofed. Surely there's technology that can track these people down?

Caller: Follow up services

Got a call from (08) 6377 7225. Said they're calling from some.... Follow up services - I couldn't pick up the name so I ask again but his accent was not clear. I asked to spell out the name of their company then he hung up. Well...that said it all. Not a genuine person from a real company. I've just blocked the number.

Phoned 5 or so times today stated follow up for a motor vehicle accident. I stated I havnt had a accident he said unbelievable and hanged up on me

Hi there,
Received the scam call this afternoon ; just block the call - this caller must have been his first ; as I believe he failed in the first 2 seconds he opened his mouth in convincing me of his intentions.

Several missed calls from this number.Today a guy with English accent asked about a recent car accident I had reported - which is false.Unable to identify the name of the company .

this number keeps ringing me. If I don't recognise a number I don't answer the call

Called me three times today, no message. I'm sick. This is very annoying. I don't know who they are or how they get your number but it's really annoying
