This was the usual scam call regarding " the accident you were in" block number

Hung up when I answered - Scam

I found they use the following numbers for the scam;-
(08) 6244 6109 insurance scam
(08) 6365 0405 insurance scam
(08) 6365 4954 insurance scam
(08) 6370 4900 insurance scam
(08) 6370 4935 insurance scam
(08) 6370 4937 insurance scam
(08) 6370 4940 insurance scam
(08) 6370 4941 insurance scam
(08) 6370 4942 insurance scam

Keep getting these nuisance calls re accident I never had.
I don't even drive but I can use a computer.
They have a bunch of numbers they use this week from 63704934 to 63704942
Wish I could flame these numbers
Maybe I will.

I have had this call before regarding the accident I was in. However, I was in a major accident recently and actually going through a lawyer for this. My lawyers name is the same name as the man who called so I assumed it was legitimate. I have stupidly given them the date of my accident :/ They already knew my name.
Really worried now that I have fallen to a scam :/

It was one of the calls about an accident. I let it go, and then called the number back. A guy with an English accent answered - i had a go at him saying that at this point it is disgraceful how they are scamming. Funny enough, he hung up on me! I have since blocked the number.

'Hello, I'm Amanda from the claims team, calling about the accident you were involved in...'. Automated call, no company name, no identifying information etc etc

I had this call, hung up, blocked. In the past they used a real person rather than a recording. I strung them along and after wasting a few minutes of wasting their time, I said "Oh yes, that was the accident I was killed in". There was a gasp and a pause and I was asked what did I say. I said it again and the guy and his mates who were listening in freaked out and then hung up. 😜

They ask some superficial questions about the car accident and any medical issues and then hang up if you try to dig deeper

My phone comes up with Potential Fraud warning for certain numbers. I don't answer them. I come to this site and check the number. Suprise suprise..it's a scam caller.

They keep calling obviously a scam might ring back and play a rhino farting sound down phone ....how did I get that sound u ask?:)

Yeh nah this is a scam the English ancient guy said I was in a accident on the road so he asked for my name so I gave him a fake name and his like alright bob I've tracked your number I'm going to contact your parents then his like by kid then hangs up its definitely a scam
