SCAM - automated call - Something about ebay and charges - hung up before i heard any more

I got a call from this number and didn't answer. Didn't leave a message. Don't have anyone in WA who needed to call me. Blocked.

Commonwealth Bank Fund Scam!!!

Pre recorded call re:fraudulent use of identity arrest warrant issued. Ignore at own penalty. Americal accent. Loud and quite threatening.

Caller: SCAMMER

Claimed to be from Commonwealth Bank Financial Security and wanted access to home computer. We were travelling and said we would call back and asked for a Reference number, Caller hung up (as expected). Tried to ring later but number is disconnected.

Left a very threatening message on my voicemail. Went on about "Fraudulant identity claim against my name. Last warning before legal matters in the high court, blah blah"
Told me to press 1 on my phone and hold till I can speak to an officer??? YEAH RIGHT!!!

I didn't answer (as I don't know anyone in WA) and am very pleased I didn't. Confirmed now that it was indeed a scam as I suspected.

Just another Scam . It left a message .."Need urgent call back or your internet will implode blah blah blah..." The fact I'm posting this this suggests it didn't ...& won't :)

I also recieved a call from this number and tried to call back but it's not available.

Claims to be from NBN about service problems, wants access to your computer to fix. It is a Scam.

Foreign accent claiming to be from Telstra. Knowing it was a scam (I’m not with Telstra!) I told him I knew he wasn’t from Telstra and he got rude and tried to convince me.

These idiots have to come up with new ideas to scam people. Everything they claim to be sounds very stupid.

Claiming to be Comm Bank Security. Claiming an unauthorised charge against my card in the USA. Hung up on me when they couldn't verify any of my details.

Was from a busy call centre judging by the noise in the background.

Stated that they have been charging our account so would like our consent to stop charges. Wanted us to download a software/app to do so. When asked if we can call them back, they gave us a bogus number

The lady sounded Indian Saying they were from the commonwealth bank asking if I had authorised an $800 transaction. I hung up without taking it any further! Have received another call today from the same number.. the number rang four times yesterday. Will block once I scream in their ear next call!
