Getting multiple calls a day from 08 6255 XXXX numbers. My phone flags them as possible spam calls, so I don't answer. It's very annoying and happening constantly.

SCAM - Said they were from Visa. Told me there were multiple phishing attempts on my Commbank visa from the US and asked if I authorised them. I don’t have a CommBank visa. He said what bank and I said Westpac. I don’t have any accounts with Westpac. He wanted me to log into my account and he would help me sort it out. I asked to ring back and he said he could ring me back or I could go into my Westpac branch. I said I would do that. He tried to convince me that he needed to stop the attempts now. He hung up and never phoned back.

Caller: Claimed Australia Post Claimed they were calling from Australia Post, parcel arriving with multiple credit cards listed. Wanting to check my credit card details. Obvious scam.

Caller: (08) 6255 9949 This number called me and when I answered flicked to a man “answering the phone” from a claims department as if I had called them. Asked how he could help me and when I told him that he had called me, he hung up.
