Didn't recognise the number so didn't answer and they didn't leave a message so putting it down to scammers

Scam, rang twice, first pretending to be PayPal regarding an eBay payment. Second pretending to be CBA

Want me to OK transaction of $1000+ from an ANZ account which I don't have

Called from Perth, WA. This is one of several different numbers from WA and VIC that have tried to call since lunch time. No v/mail left. Number blocked. Can't somenody do something about these f*ckers?

Scammer who mumbled so much he couldn't even get the spam spiel out so he ended up hanging up on me.

He told me that he is calling from CommBank and he wants me to authorise an online transaction. But I don't even have an account at CommBank!

Scammers for sure. They say they are from the security team from the bank. I asked which bank, she got angry and said commonwealth. When I told her I don't bank there, she hung up.

Caller: Australia Post scam

Said they were from Australia Post and they had scanned a letter with four debit cards that were involved in money laundering. Asked what I had to say about it and would I like the letter returned to sender. Asked where it was being sent and she said to me. Called asked if she was speaking with a particular person, said no and she hung up.

Daniel from Amazon seemed so lovely, but he hung up on me!!! I must have been too excited about talking with him.

answer the call as was expecting a call from a business, was immediately asked how old i was? when i refused to answer, comment was made " you sound like an old lady" by the Indian male, was then asked my age again and again refused to advise. he then responded he didn't want to talk to me and hung up... VERY strange call . number now blocked

Claims to be the Security Dept of some Banks.
I’ve asked WHY they do such sad Jobs to scam people & he hung up.
It’s very very sad that our world has become such a Unsafe Place…
ALL Govt & perhaps Telco Companies should STEP UP.
Why provide Telco Services to allow them to Call people anyways???

Caller: Commonwealth Bank

Claimed to be from Commonwealth Bank needing verification details! Sounded dodgy so asked them to use the banks Caller Check, they hung up. So fed up with all these types of calls.

Said did I authorise a $1,200 payment from ANZ (don’t have an ANZ account) and if not to press 1. Then I spoke to someone who said it was going TO and ANZ account (overseas - lol) and she could help me secure my account if I told her some details. I asked which bank and she said they deal with ALL Australian banks. I hung up but I was surprised at how professional she sounded (was an Indian accent). Definitely a scam.
