One more of the many suspicious "spare number" landline calls from all over the country that usually try calling in the afternoon. I no longer answer them. But I called this one back from a pay phone and when I asked who they were they said it was "Funding Network", and "may I speak to the business owner?" I told them no, this isn't a business, then he asked for my name, address, DOB etc, I said no again and hung up.
DO NO answer, DO NOT call back from your own phone! This is clearly not a legitimate business. There IS an actual "funding network" but this isn't their number and they have to respect the Do Not Call Register like everyone else. Which I am on, and they would have known that if they were the real organisation

Yep. Just block and delete this one. Generally the prefix (08) 6255…is spam.

Continuous calls early evening from this number and similar. Thanks to the other review I won’t answer and will add the number to my Spam Caller contact.. The amount of calls are staggering. Every single day for weeks.

Scammer. Called from (08) 6255 6952, then called again from (08) 6255 6931. Claiming to be from "Funding Network"? Wanted to speak to the business owner.

I didn't answer but called back from a pay phone. They claimed to be "Funding Network" but the real organisation is based in Sydney and they do not have a WA land line number, which this is! Clearly this is not the real "funding network" just hoping to harvest contact info for small businesses. They asked "may I speak to the business owner?" and I said no this is not a business then they wanted my full name, DOB, home address etc, I hung up.
Probably hoping that people will think they're going around "funding" them out of the goodness of their hearts
