I called back number (08) 6255 5896 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.

Had a call from this scammer last week and again today except he used a different number the number he used today was (08) 6271 3248 but it was the same recoding about an accident

Missed the call. On reviewing the missed call my phone flagged it as potential spam. For sh*ts and giggles I rang back. Yep, recorded message casually telling me that the caller, Steve I think, wants to discuss the recent accident that I had. Press "1" to talk to a claim rep, "2" if you didn't have an accident.

A male idiot answered when I called back. Twice... claiming to be an insurance claims office. Hung up when questioned.

I answered the phone - it sounded like a recording about an accident I had recently- Not - it asked that I hit 1 for yes or 2 to remove my number - I hung up and called the number back - it was answered by a foreign voice - I heard voices in the background like a call centre I asked what company it was and he hung up.

Rang them back got a message from STEVE!!! claiming just needed a few more details about the accident I was involved in, I haven't been in an accident, scam for sure.

Rang the number back and they said hit 1 to be connected to an operator regarding your accident or 2 if you did not have an accident. I hit 1 and the response was "Is ***** there?" (knew my name) and I said No, I am calling you back. Then they hung up.
