I received a similar unexpected claim from someone claiming to be from “accident verification” asking if I’d reported an accident that wasn’t my fault. Seemed very scammy

My mobile warned that this was suspicious - no message left by caller. Evidence suggests a scam.

Caller: (08) 6239 0743 Caller with South Asian accent claimed that they were calling because police said my car had been involved in an accident. I do not have a car registered in my name, they are business cars and my mobile is not registered with any of them. Clearly a scam call.
