Caller: Pre-recorded female claiming to be ANZ bank Had a female voice claim that there had been a transaction request on my ANZ account to withdraw $1000.00, Press (1) to deny and press (2) to authorize. As I have only just got this phone and number it was obviously a scam.

Caller: I don’t know Rang me twice today with no msg left. Assuming charity or perhaps spam call. Why is it that giving $ to charity, now means you will be cold called by a “volunteer” to ask for more? Almost a reason to stop donations as I never answer unknown numbers & I cringe listening to scripted spiels and my manners makes it hard to interrupt. Awkward all round.
