Definitely scammers - said they were calling on behalf of the government's Accident Survey Department (no such government department) regarding a car accident I'd had in the last two years (I haven't had any), and said they could act on my behalf to get compensation for me. After a little back and forth which included me telling him I'd had 5 accidents to which he agreed, then clarifying I knew he was a scammer because I hadn't had one he got defensive and angry and kept asking me "why you lie to me? But why you lie?". He persisted with asking this until I asked him for his name and contact number when he abruptly disconnected.

Do not answer calls from this number - fraudsters abound.

I was asked if I had an accident in the last 2 years and I said no and then whoever it was hung up.

Just received a call from them, claiming that I "had an accident HERE", so asked them where, they just hang up...

Just got called twice today about a supposed accident I was in. I advised that he may have the wrong number to which he insisted that I was lying. Weird. So my husband hopped in the phone to talk to him and the caller continued to say we had an accident. After about 3 minutes of wasting our time, he hung up.

I called back number (08) 6225 2691 rang 5 times then goes to busy tone.

Received a call from these guys saying they're from CLAIMS SERVICES, from the CLAIMS DEPARTMENT. They asked about the car accident I know I was in. Bit pushy but they know better than to call our number now.
