Number was a Quentin from Some Credit company looking to know if I knew of someone 15 places down the street from where I lived, asked where he got my number, apparently on some database that anyone could subscribe to.........weird, I should be on the NO CONTACT Govt list???? I think I might jut have to continually call this guy back and annoy him now.....

Rang and left a voicemail asking me to pass on a message to someone with my husband's first name. Followed up with a text message asking the same thing.

Told me call was being recorded. Claimed to be trying to find a relative of mine, info sounded like bullsh*t.

Asked in relation to Peter. Sounded a bit suss, NZ accent. Not sure which Peter he is referring to ? Left a voice message as well as a text message.

Quenjon called me was told I was busy and sent me a follow up text to call back. He was trying to find someone called Melissa. I spoke to his manager (I know how it sounds) trying to understand the ethics and legality of harassing random strangers who might know someone that they want to talk to. Manager denied knowledge of the Do not call register, said that they got my information from a public database. Manager refused to acknowledge that they were working from a debt collection agency. I asked to be taken off of their list of people they could contact.

Wanted me to pass on message to one of my Facebook friends (we're NOT related), must be going through the other person's Facebook contacts.
Appears to be a Debt Collector. They told me call was being recorded, I told them I didn't have contact details for them and only know someone that might. I'm on the GOVERNMENT DO NOT CALL REGISTER - NOT HAPPY!!

Told me call was being recorded. Knew my last name. I'm on GOV'T DO NOT CALL REGISTER!! He forwarded me an SMS message to get me to forward a known person a message. Told Quentin I didn't know this person 'N.......E......' number or whereabouts but might know someone that does?!.
After some research it looks like it's a Credit Company PIONEER but what gives them the right to contact me? I'm NOT related to the person they are looking for, must be stalking all their FB contacts !! DO NOT CALL REGISTER IS USELESS
