Tip: if the debt is over 6 years old since the last repayment don't talk to them or admit in writing you owe the debt simply ignore it.

Was looking for a guy that lived in my old building. Told me to go to their door and pass on a message to call Jill

I called back number (08) 6214 4321 spoke to a woman who said company name is Pioneer Credit.

I got a call from this number asking about my neighbours, wanted me to go over I hung up

said her Jill and was looking to get in contact with a lady in my street. i was concerned on how she got my number. when asked for details she was very hesitant and gave no details. thank you for all that posted above, at least now l understand what is going on.

Started call by stating call would be recorded!!!
No idea how she got my mobile number.
Claimed she wanted to get hold of my neighbour (who she named & confirmed street number) who was a friend of hers!
I refused to assist & asked why she was recording call, she said because she was calling from her business.
I said I could not help her and hung upl
I googled the number and is for Pioneer Credit

Said she needed to get in contact with a girl who I am not friends with on facebook but is my cousins girlfriend. I knew Jill tracked me through facebook as she used my facebook name and got my phone number. When I asked her how she got my details she said everythings just available through social media. She said this girl needs to get back in contact with her asap. Pioneer Credit she works for. Debt collectors.

Called looking for a friend of mine have no idea how they would have my home number

Said they were from Pioneer Credit. Called looking for someone I lived with for a time and was able to give that person’s full name, my full (maiden) name, and our last shared address. No idea how they got my number. Quite unsettling, especially since I don’t think the person they were calling for likely has my number anymore lol.

Do not answer - called my personal number and asked for some one from office for a personal matter. Does not tell how she got the number.

Asked for one of my colleagues, said it was personal. Strange as call was from WA and we are in NSW. My colleague doesnt know anyone called Jill from WA.

Jill called looking for someone that apparently worked in the same company as I did over 6 years ago.

So funny. :)
