Caller: Waseem

Called me to get in contact with a friend of mine, the friend is a childhood friend I haven’t seen in over 20 years, and I only have as a Facebook contact. I explained I don’t have those phone number and that they don’t use Facebook often and that it may be months between seeing them active on Facebook but Waseem didn’t seem to care.
When I asked him what it was in regards to he said it was a financial matter that was personal and he couldn’t tell me any more. When I asked how he got my full name and number her said he got it from a data base...
Sounds fishy...

Said they were from the Finance Institute. Called and asked to pass on the number to someone apparently with the same last name but literally no one in my family was named the name they gave me. Weird they knew my whole name.

Called three times in the couple of days using mobile and land line numbers. I have already told them it is not me who they are looking for. Hung up first time then keep calling.

I called back number (08) 6214 4310 spoke to a guy but did not say for what company.
