They left a text message asking to be called regarding a friend of mine. Dodgy as.

I was contacted a number of times and finally called back with the intention to ask them to stop calling. Pioneer Credit - I had not heard of them prior to today. They knew my full name, previous residential address & mobile number. They said they were looking for a specific person who I won't name on this forum, but said they lived at a house which was a neighbouring property. I asked how they attained my details and said it was available on a public database and wouldn't clarify further. When I said I didn't know the person they were asking about, he thanked me and ended the call. I'd like to know how they attained my personal details when I don't know the person or have dealt with the company! Very creepy.
