I got a random text message saying it was important that I call back
This number. I called back and it was a voice mail from an Alisha but spoke too
Quickly for me to understand where she is from and what company she’s calling from. Seems like a scam. Not sure how they got my number

Caller: Alisha- Pioneer Credit

Said she was from Pioneer Credit and asked if I knew a certain person and if I can either pass a message on or advise where they are as they are having trouble reaching them.. She said she has access to the public database, hence why she had my phone number and was reaching out.( I knew the person she asked about so that was unusual)
She was pleasant on the phone...still does not sound legit.... maybe debt collectors??

Caller: Janice

A woman called me and asked me if I knew someone by x name. It is my father's name. She was evasive and I had to push to get her name and company she worked for. She eventually said she worked for Pioneer credit and her name was Janice and she needed to talk to my father urgently. I called him and he said he'd never heard of Pinoneer credit. It was bizarre.

I called back the number (08) 6214 2293 and spoke with a lady that said I reached Pioneer Credit

I just had a similar experience with someone calling from
08 6214 2283 at 11:30am EST today. I missed the call. Then I got this text message from mobile number: 0428 864 988 saying: “Hi (my name) could you please contact Ehmz on (08) 6214 2283 in relation to Raymond . Thank you.”
I don’t know anyone named Raymond.
I googled the Perth number: 08 6214 2283 and it came came up as “Pioneer Credit”. Looks like a real company but then who knows these days? Like someone else said, could be a debt collector. But I still don’t know anyone named Raymond so it’s weird they contacted me if it’s legitimate. I wrote back to the text and informed them the must have the wrong person.
No reply as yet.
I’m guessing it’s a scam and I’m going to block both numbers.

Called me asking me to pass along a message to one of my mates. Wants them to get in touch. Called the number which said they were from Pioneer Credit. Definitely debt collectors

Caller: Female

Called asking if I knew X person. Would not disclose what company she worked for due to "confidential reasons", but stated the company was based in Perth. I terminated the call and blocked the number.

AGL sold my DISPUTED bill to them and now they are chasing me for the money!

Caller: Janice

This is the second time I had received a call and message from this number with no company name. Searched and then saw the messages that everyone has written above I honestly thought I had blocked it the first time. Definitely a scam as what business doesn’t even say where they’re calling from.

This lady did the same to me!!!

Got a message saying it was urgent to call janeth. Felt like it was a scam, So I searched and saw messages on here and now I am blocking the number thanks for the previous info everyone.

Trolling through Facebook looking for numbers of Facebook friends harassing
In getting them to contact me.

got a missed call from Ali (08) 6214 4293 and a text message asked me to call back for an important matter. sounds like a scam and found all these comments here thanks everyone

Left a voice message requesting that I call back immediately, no name, no company name just repeated phone number twice. Searched her number online before giving a call back and found these comments. Not calling back, i'm blocking the number.

Caller: Some financial co

Called to ask if she was speaking to (my name) which she got correctly, and then proceeded to ask if knew anyone named Alice Tanner. I said no. She then said her company name and then the call is being recorded. And then ended the call. Probably calling to record voices.

I got a missed call from ‘Alisha’ asking me to call her back straight away as it is a urgent matter. Red flags already, so I dismissed it, as she didn’t explain her issue, company, connection, or who she was / how she got my private number. Scammer.

Very important call, Ring back urgently, was the message on my messagebank. No company name given. Luckily I looked here first!

thought it was strange she did not mention her company.
put the number into google and found all these people had the same experience.
definitely a scam!
