this number called me this morning, I didn't answer. Then I got a text message saying "Hi (my name), could you call (my name) on (08) 6214 2211 in relation to (name of someone I do not know). Thank you." I will not be returning the call. Highly Likely a scam

Caller: Pioneer Credit - Debt Collectors

They called me on a Sunday!
Debt Collectors for a debt outside the statute of limitations! It’s a debt incurred over 10 years ago! They text me last week pretending that I had a credit card with them and wanted me to make repayments. They are contacting me everyday for the past couple of weeks.

Calls multiple times in a row and doesn't leave a message, bloody annoying.
I don't bother calling back unless they leave a voicemail or text, can't be too important if they don't leave some sort of message.
By the looks of the other comments here it's some bullsh*t scam or debt collector.. good luck to them..

They will not say their company name, only that they are a 'financial institution'. They have overseas (maybe Philippines) sounding workers.
They will call your workplace and anywhere they can to get you on the phone.

They were asking me if I had a phone number for my neighbour from my last address
